R.I.P Dog com (Pug) @ 13 years old

R.I.P my dear boy, we all miss you.

Name: Dog com
Breed: Pug
Age: 13
Gender: Boy

Wr fetched me to get chicken pie after work. We went home happily and then found my dog laying on the kitchen floor with newspaper under his body. My mum asked us to take him to the hospital after much consideration as he can't get up to urinate by himself. He just lay down and pee. My bro handfeed him this afternoon. Tried moving, but can't move. :(

I sort of guessed it... After my mum came back last friday, my boy have been acting unusual. At first i persuaded him to bathe, but he didn't listen to me (which is normal because he usually listens to my mum only) and just stayed in his cage. We had to carry his pail all the way to the bathroom to bathe him. Anyway, his pail had to be washed at the same time. He just lay there the whole time. When i am done, he just looks at me with this strange expression in his eyes. I tried to get him out of the bathroom but he didn't want to so i just left him there with the toilet door open and did my other housework, ate my lunch but he just lied there. Thought he was pretty tired as he is an old dog already. Carried him out and back to the cage. Closely Monitored him and handfed him as it was getting worrying. He still farted after that. lol. Let him rest. Saw him moving around a little on Sunday and i assumed he was doing fine but he just lay down most of the time.

Back to today, we went to the vet that did some xrays for him and putting him to sleep might be a better option for a 13 year old dog as he had many problems that might not be suitable for him to go through treatment. Also, he might not be able to get up again. The vet also advised that if we do not put him to sleep, he might just pass away at home as well...

And, we finally decided to put him to sleep... It was a tough decision for me. In fact, i didn't have to make any decision. Dad, bro and mum already knew he was old and was mentally prepapared. He struggled a little while placing the needle. Tried barking like how my other dog, Angel thought him. And he just went off like that. It was a little too emotional for me to handle. I still can't accept that my dog is gone in seconds.

Luckily, wr was there for me the whole time. Thank you for the comfort and security that you gave me. Thank you for driving us to the animal hospital and being there for me. :')

My dog is an angel now, in the sky and looking at us. We all miss you. :) Angel misses you bunking in with her at night in the same pail. She hugged on to me, kept barking and didn't want to let go...
